Tooth and Implant Case 6 · Reconstruction · Implants

Rebuilt Without Removing Her Teeth

She asked for All-on-4. Her health ruled out long surgery, and her teeth did not need to go.

She came with a complex medical condition: any lengthy surgery would compromise her medically. The task was a treatment plan that would give her the smile she had always wanted without compromising her health.

With the help of a physician qualified to care for patients like her, and the artistry and skill of the restorative team, the result was a beautiful one.

She is an actor, an interesting and charming person whose personality warms a room. She wanted a smile to match, and that is what was made for her.

Arrival

Worn, but not lost

When she first came to the office she asked for All-on-4: all of the teeth removed, implants placed, and prosthetic teeth attached to them.

Why not All-on-4

Her own teeth, with implants where they were needed

The beauty of her treatment was that a great deal of good underlying tooth structure could be preserved. Her teeth did not all have to go. Her own tooth structure, with implants in selected sites, carried a reconstruction of combined tooth- and implant-supported prostheses.

Her case is a model of patient-centered care: care that addresses every aspect of a patient's health and aesthetics, and does what is best for the patient to get the best result. That is why the result looks like this, and is biologically sound and healthy as well as beautiful.

Every case is planned around one person's anatomy. Individual results vary, and what was right for this patient may not be right for you.
