The Doctor You Are Going To
Dr. Mamaly Reshad is a prosthodontist. He plans each case himself and carries it out himself, which is why the practice carries his name.

The Right Diagnosis Drives the Right Treatment
“When the patient shows up in my chair, I know exactly what needs to be done by the end and I see the end goal at the beginning,” Dr. Reshad says. “I can plan it, design it, and work back from that and I go step by step towards the goal… A little bit like how an architect designs a house, they plan it all out.”
Before we recommend a single procedure, we go through an in depth process of gathering data, collecting detailed records, and understanding you as a patient. The result is a bespoke treatment plan designed around what you want, what you need, and what will serve you best for years to come.
Sometimes that means implants. Other times it means veneers, restorations, or a combination of approaches you may not have considered. Our treatment is guided by diagnosis, not limited by specialty. As prosthodontists, we are trained in every discipline of tooth restoration and replacement, so we never default to a single solution simply because it is what we know best.
“With ethics everything can be fixed. Without ethics nothing works.”
Asked for the one thing every dentist should understand, Dr. Reshad did not name a technique. “An ethical dentist will always put the patient first not finances. The plan is not to generate income but rather to do what's best for the patient.”
In practice that means referring a patient on when another clinician has the right skills, addressing a problem properly when one is found, and declining work that would harm: “I wouldn't just replace the crown and put a crown on an infected tooth. I always would like to sort out the foundations and then put the crown on.”
“We'd rather not do the work, not have the income, but do what we think is right to avoid problems for the patient.”
Keep What Can Be Kept. Plan for What Cannot.
“I always try to be conservative,” he says. “I do the best I can to preserve what the patient has to the best of my ability but sometimes that is not possible… If it's gone beyond the point of repair, it's sometimes better to now plan for the next chapter of the patient's life.”
Either way the plan is made against the long term. The question he works back from is what has to be done so that these teeth stay in the mouth, and function well, for decades to come.
There is more happening beneath the surface than the tooth you can see: the way your bite functions, how your jaw aligns, the forces at play every time you chew, speak, or sleep. Prosthodontists train for years in exactly this, so a restoration is planned to function as well as it looks.
A Complete Dentist, Built in Four Moves
He qualified at King's College London. “I just felt that I needed to know more,” he says of leaving dental school. A master's with distinction at the Eastman Dental Institute followed, and then the advanced prosthodontics programme at USC, to learn full mouth and implant reconstruction.
He stayed on at USC to teach, and served as Chairman of Fixed and Operative Dentistry. There he trained future dentists and specialists, established clinical standards, led credentialing programs, and contributed to peer reviewed research. The fourth move is Beverly Hills: two practices condensed into one.
“If you really understand the topic, you can teach it.”

The Dentist That Dentists Send Their Families To
Dentists, dental specialists, their families, doctors, and plastic surgeons trust Dr. Reshad with their own care. These are people who understand the science of medicine and dentistry, and they choose him.
Asked why, he answers with a list. “It's not just the dentistry. It's about how we take care of the patients, how we follow up, how we communicate with the patients.” Behind that sit a team, and “many systems and checklists in place to help us deliver the right treatment for the patient.”
“We care. We're ethical. We're meticulous in precision, planning, execution, and delivery.”
Done Once, Then Looked After
Dentistry is measured by how it holds up years later. “Patients do not have too much dentistry and if they need it they just get it done once and that's it.”
After treatment the practice stays with you, with guidance on maintaining the work and regular checks for years afterwards. “If things are done well and patients are looked after, their teeth and their health are well.”
“The prosthodontist is the quarterback.” When a case calls for it, Dr. Reshad plans and coordinates the work of oral surgeons, periodontists, endodontists and orthodontists.

The Prime Years, in One Practice
“At this stage of my career, having had two practices, I decided to condense everything into one practice that is in a good convenient location and focus really on the quality and on what I'm trying to create for my patients.”
The Beverly Hills office opens in January 2027. It was planned around what his patients need: one location within reach of most of Los Angeles, with the specialists he works with nearby. “From all parameters I wanted to create the perfect prosthodontic practice.”
“These are the prime years of my career.”
You deserve more than a one size fits all solution. You deserve a plan built entirely around you.
The First Visit
It starts before you arrive, with a detailed questionnaire and any old X-rays, records and photographs you can send. At the visit Dr. Reshad hears what brought you in, makes a diagnosis, and sets out the options that could help. Only then is a plan made.
