FP-3 Case 20 · All-on-X · Implants
Anchored in the Cheekbones
Her dentures were so loose she could not eat in front of her own family.
She came to Dr. Reshad in early 2015 with loose dentures and loose teeth. She had lost her confidence: an odor she found embarrassing, teeth that moved, and dentures so loose that chewing in public, or even around her family, had become almost impossible.

Before and after

With the denture, and without it
The denture hid most of it. Out of the mouth, what remained was a handful of upper teeth and a lower arch that could not hold a prosthesis still.

Retracted

Implants where the bone still was
The other noteworthy fact of her treatment is that bone grafting, and the multiple lengthy and expensive surgical procedures that go with it, were avoided by placing implants in the cheekbones. Her quality of life improved at once.
The distinctive part of her result was how quickly her severely convex facial profile and incompetent lips, both the product of bad tooth and jaw positions, were corrected. Her excessive lip support was corrected in one day, and her speech and self-confidence with it. All of that comes from meticulous planning and execution.

After treatment

Part of the family
Her treatment was complete after a few months of healing. She now visits routinely for hygiene appointments, and we are proud to have such a kind-hearted caregiver as part of the practice's family.
Before and after

Every case is planned around one person's anatomy. Individual results vary, and what was right for this patient may not be right for you.
